Ultrasound Update

Well, we had a little surprise at the ultrasound today. Everything looked good, but instead of having a little girl, we are having a little boy! Yes, I said boy. They are 95% sure it is a boy. Bill has had a stupid grin on his face since then.

Tori Amos

I know that I have talked a lot lately about Trent Reznor’s new CD. I just found out today that Tori will be having a new CD complication come out called “A Piano: The Collection”. This collection consists of 86 songs that span Tori’s career. There will be hits, alternate mixes, dance versions, B-sides, unreleased material found in storage boxes and demos of a few of her classics.

As a huge Tori Amos fan, I am extremely excited by this. I have seen her in concert about 4 times. She is awesome. I will be running out and buying this as soon as I can.

Ultrasound today

I go for my second 3D ultrasound today. I am trying not to worry to much. I know that they did not see any sign of spinal bifida last time, but it still worries me. We actually have to go again because they need to get better cardiac views. The cool thing is that we get to see the baby again. I think we are going to take Madison with. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to all this. At three years old, I do not know if she gets what is going on.

Supplements

I am in the process of looking for a new supplements to take. I hate my prenatal vitamins. They make me sick. I have resorted to taking my daughter’s Flinstone vitamins until I find something else I want to take. I just found several multivitamins that I could use instead. They also have a list comparing their prices to some of the top web stores.

Something else that I love about this site is that you are able to review the supplements and the vitamins that you have tried. In looking at the reviews, I found that they are not all good. I saw several reviews that were not complimentary towards some of the supplements. This is just like any other medicine you take. Some things work for some people and not others. I like that they are not biased and just putting the good reviews up. It ups the credibility level for me.

Chicago’s Mayor

Richard Daley easily won reelection today with 70% of the vote. It was a low turnout with only about 3 out of 10 voters actually coming out to vote. If he serves his full term, he will be the longest serving mayor in the third largest city.
