Yes, I have made several online friends in my quest to make money. One of the best ways I did this was joining the PayPerPost forums. Let me tell you what some of these great people have done for me.

When we were playing the HP camera puzzle (the first one), I started getting DEP error. It would not allow me to save pieces or even access the ones I had. We were very close to the end too. I post on the forums and not one but TWO people emailed me all of their pieces. There were no strings attached. I could have won the $1000 from them doing that. Still, that’s how great they are (and no I didn’t win but if I did I would have shared).

I needed a maternity dress for a formal dinner I have to go to on Feb. 10th. I posted my frustration regarding not being able to find anything and several posties scoured the Internet and gave me several websites to check out. Robyn, who lives in Chicago, actually offered to borrow me a dress (I had found one at Motherhood Maternity already).

I just recently had a positive result on my Quad screen (I thought it was a triple screen, but it really was a quad screen). This is the test they do to check for Down’s Syndrome and Spinal Bifida. Needless to say, I was freaking out. It wasn’t something I mentioned on the forums, but several posties gave me some linky love and kept me in their thoughts and prayers for this last week. They also gave me a lot of reassurance that everything was going to be okay. I have to give Cass a shout-out because she made me cry (in a good way). I got home from my ultrasound and one of the first emails I saw was from her wondering how it went. Heck, I am tearing up again just writing this (damn those pregnancy hormones). From the ultrasound, they saw nothing wrong and at this point, they think it is just a false positive.

I just posted about my laptop’s power cord issue yesterday on the forums. Eve got her husband to help me. Following many peoples’ suggestion, I contacted HP. When they gave me the brush off, Marissa stepped in and email HP’s CEO regarding their brush off. Yes, I got all teary eyed again (again, damn those pregnancy hormones).

I could go on and on about these people that I have met like Julie, Colleen, and Amy. I can’t go over all the things that they have helped me with. This is just a small snapshot of the help I have received. The posties are some of the greatest people to have as friends. I just wanted to say thank you to you all.
