I don’t get how a couple of weeks ago we were paying close to $2.00 a gallon for gas and it is back up to $2.29. Well, that is what it was yesterday. It got cold and gas prices shot up. What makes me sick, is that my friend Jesse is only paying $2.09 a gallon and she lives in Kansas. I would think it would take longer to transport there than to Chicago. I get that there are additional county and state taxes to think about. Would her taxes be that much less? It is just ridiculous either way. I remember when I was in high school and gas was only $.99 and I am not even that old!
