Ever so often you come across a book or site that you find interesting. Today, I did just that.
The Capo’s Mistress by Richard Harris is an interesting book. The basic plot is that man meets woman. Woman is in trouble and asks man for help. Man accidentally brings the trouble back with him. I know, you are thinking that this story has been told 100 times already. However, from what I have read so far, this is a great book. It is not boring. I do not know how it ends yet, so I may have the plot a little off. However, so far, that is the plot line the story is taking. However, I have heard that “The ending is surprising, moving and one you will not soon forget.” That alone keeps me reading.
I personally enjoy the writing style (which from me is a huge compliment. I normally only care for John Grisham, Stephen King, Dean R. Koontz, Robin Cook, etc.). It seems like a fast easy read. It is a bit of a mystery novel and a bit of a romance novel. Normally, this would not flow together and make any sense. However, Richard Harris does is seamlessly. This is also the first book in the Mike Driscoll series. I look forward to finishing this book and reading others in this saga.
Interested? You can download The Capo’s Mistress for free until April 27 or pre-order The Capo’s Mistress at Amazon. It will be worth it.

As I love the other authors you mentioned, I should check this book out!
