I used to use a blogging engine called dasBlog before switching to WordPress and WordPress is a real joy to use. I've learnt PHP and improved my javascript since I moved to it and I love just how versatile it is. And don't get me started on the spam-nuking capabilities .. Askimet just rocks ! Ditto.
