Bill’s mom kept Madison all night, so it was just me, Bill, and Will. I think we both realized how much easier it is when you have one kid verses two. Well, we were sleeping in this morning after Will’s morning feeding. About 9:30, we woke up. Bill called his mom because we were suppose to be helping set up for his sister’s party. While he was on the phone with her, the doorbell rang. He hung up quickly, because he thought it was his dad. Well, here’s the part that pissed me off. It wasn’t his dad. It was Jehovah’s Witnesses. That would have been fine except for the fact that they continued to ring the doorbell until Bill answered. Will was sleeping. Key word there, WAS. You know, I understand you have to go door to door. Heck, we weren’t even hiding. But come on, give us a chance to open the door! And I finally get a morning to sleep, and you go and wake me up!!!!

Friday, June 29th, 2007Today the photographer people are coming back to show me the pictures. Woo hoo!!! There are 2 that I know I want for sure. There is a family one, and there is one with Madison and Will. The problem is going to be deciding which ones I want of Will. I am hoping after I order them today, they get here shortly. We have one picture of Will up and we have 5 of Madison. We definitely need a few more of Will. They are suppose to be here between 12:30 – 1:30, so I guess I just have to be patient.
Productive Evening
Thursday, June 28th, 2007Every so often we are able to get a lot accomplished and tonight was one of those nights. Bill was able to mow the lawn and get the edging done. He also finished sanding one side of the garage (which we want to eventually paint). He was also able to give Will a bath.
I was able to pick up the living room and the kitchen. I also did several loads of laundry, got my side project work done, and made dinner and it is only 8:30!!!
Hopefully, everybody will be able to go to sleep early tonight!!!
Kids and their bodily fluids
Thursday, June 28th, 2007I thought that title would get your attention. Also, it serves as a great warning say if your are eating breakfast and don’t want to hear about things like bodily fluids over your breakfast. Ok, on with the story . . .
My bodily fluid day started at the doctors office. While being weighed, Will proceeded to pee all over the scale and me and the nurse and himself. It was great, let me tell you. Then after we got home, Will proceeded to pee on me twice while I was trying to change him. I thought this was the end of my fun. I was wrong. About 11 pm last night, I fed Will in my bed. I was being lazy and did want to take him back into the living room which has not been a problem. Last night, however, he ate his bottle and then proceeded to throw up all over me and my bed. Not a little, mind you. I had to change my clothes, and we had to rip all the bedding off the bed. My entire side of the bed was covered in puke.
I thought we were done with this stuff by today. Madison climbed into bed with me this morning. I was feeding Will about 8 and I noticed a wet spot on the bed on Bill’s side (and I was pretty sure Bill didn’t wet the bed). This is where Madison lays when she climbs into bed with me. Her diaper leaked!!!!
So today has now turned into “let’s wash all the bedding” day. I tell you, its great being a housewife. Somebody please help me . . . 
Morning Sickness
Thursday, June 28th, 2007I came across a very interesting article regarding the link between morning sickness and breast cancer. For once, it is a good link. Studies have found that if you suffer from morning sickness that you have a lower incidence of breast cancer. I was sick with both my kids, so I am hoping for good things with this one.
