I am such a Vista Print fan, so when I found out that they are now doing custom t-shirts I was super excited. This was an item my fellow lia sophia consultants were looking for last year. We had just come through the Christmas season and the shipping disaster. Lia sophia had changed its distribution center in October, and lets just say it did not go well. It completely messed up our shipping schedules. We had looked all over for a company that would do the shirts at a reasonable price. We just wanted something that said: “We survived the move of 2006″. A bunch of us wanted to wear them to our convention.
This would also be a great way to get shirts made that say lia sophia for my shows or just to wear out and about to drum up moe business. The T-shirts are only $9.49 a piece and get cheaper with amount you order. Now that I think about it, this would be great for sports teams too. Bill plays softball, and each year we have to get him a new shirt. I’ll have to talk to the coach about this. This would be a cheaper way to get the whole team shirts with their sponsor on it.
Understand that almost any professional screen printer can generate a single color screen print shirts extremely inexpensively, especially if you buy in bulk. If you are serious about promoting your business with t-shirts, using your local screen printer will likely give you the best bang for your buck.
Custom digital t-shirt prints - such prints can be full process color and the print can be as permanent as a screen print while being softer and ‘breathable’. If you want this kind of printed t-shirt, the only way to go if you really want a top quality color photo printed on a tee - do yourself a favor and shop around. Vista print is new to this category of business, there are many alternatives. There are many differences between the services, differences in price, quality of the shirt printed on, can you choose the shirt style and color? - if production artists are not hired or are untrained print color quality can suffer, different printing technologies deliver different end results… and more.
But yes, individuals can have shirts custom printed affordably!
T-shirts are a great advertising tool. Where else can you pay under $10 for a walking bilboard?
