I was going through the mail over the weekend and I came across an offer for Qwest. I already know that Qwest is not in my area, so I was highly confused to why they were sending me information. I finally got around to reading the letter, and it was because they thought I was buying some Arizona real estate! Why would they get that idea? The only thing I could figure out was that we requested information for vacationing in Arizona. Weird, huh?
That is awefully strange that Qwest would have the idea you were interested in buying real estate in that area… it seems that the real estate marketing industry has started to really push purchasing information.

That’s nothing more than spamming… they got the mail id, some misc info and started marketing to look for a potential customer
