My parents see it as an online journal, with different levels of privacy. Like my LJ would be my "locked diary". My WP site is the journal that sits on the bed, and is the one that a parent would read (with permission, obvs) My husband sees it as my stress-reliever, and a way for me to have contact with "the outside world" since I don't get out as much, LOL.
