I have often contemplated going back to school. I currently have a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Business Administration. That is basically fancy talk for a general studies degree which is all I could get with the program I went through (I was able to attend classes on the weekends and online). With two little ones and a husband who never gets home at the same time every night though, I always figured that I would have to wait for the kids to be in school (which is another 5 years!). Imagine my surprise when I found out you can get Online MBAs. Columbia Southern University is who offers this program, and you are able to get MBA degrees with concentrations in E-Business, Marketing, Project Management, Finance, Health Care Management and much more. As you can see, they have lots of mba programs.  They also offer open enrollment. Their tuition is affordable and the textbooks aren’t extra either (I remember spending over $500 a semester on books). This definitely make it much easier for moms like me to go back and further their education. It is also helpful for people who currently have a job also. I have taken several online classes in the past, and honestly, I like them way more than being in the classroom. I personally think I would go the E-business and marketing route.
