One of the things we did before we started our huge remodeling job was to see which credit cards work best for us in case we start running short on money before the job is done. Sites like Credit Cards Club are extremely helpful, because they can direct you to the credit card that best serves your needs. For example, we don’t fly a lot, so a card that gives us airline miles is useless to us. However, cards that we can earn rewards for are a much better fit. I personally also like low interest or 0% for a set amount of time. For a remodel project, the lower the rate the better. I also don’t believe in paying annual fees.
