I know when I first started blogging on my own domain I wish that there were some web hosting tutorials out there. When you are new to web hosting, there is just so much confusing information out there that you have no idea about. I lucked out and picked a good hosting company, but I know several people who didn’t. They still are searching for a good service to use. When you find sites with all the questions you have answered, you know you hit a jackpot. I have several people who I know are looking for cheap hosting and have a ton of questions. I will definitely be sending them over to Web Hosting Articles & Tutorials.
I started off with a hosting company that charged too much and had terrible customer support. Right now I’m with a company that I’ve stayed with for 4 years but I recently had a bad experience - they’re customer support has become unreliable. I’m starting to look for a new host.
Working without cPanel when you start off would be a nightmare, since FTP is kind of confusing, although I do know how to use it. However, I’m very happy I have cPanel, so much easier!

I agree with you john, cPanel is definitely a quite easy way to deal with the website hosting and FTP is ain’t that bad either. I would give more priorities to FTP as it gets easy to use once you know how to do it well.
