Wimbledon

One of the things I would love to do in my lifetime is get my hands on some Wimbledon tickets. It would have been awesome to go and see in the days of Andre Agassi (since I think he’s hot). Federer (who did win yesterday) is good looking, but he is no Andre Agassi (at least not in my book). What brought this about? Well, Bill made me suffer through ESPN last night, and they were showing the highlights of both the Wimbledon matches and the Chicago Cubs game (which I was not sure why we were watching since he had watched the game — the White Sox were still playing so no highlights for them). Nowadays though, I think I would not mind watching the Williams sisters. I think they are an awesome force to watch (either together or as single players). They brought some excitement back into tennis. Plus, they are super awesome tennis players. Personally, I have a feeling that Wimbledon is like watching a game at Wrigley Field, there are no bad seats there, so if you can get tickets, take them.
Who would you like to watch if you could get your hands on some Wimbledon tickets?

While I’ve never been to Wimbledon, and I think it would be great to go, when I was little, living in Mi, we had a charity tennis match in town that I went to. I got to watch some guy I never heard of play Arthur Ashe. I’m showing my age now but it was a tremendously exciting event. I loved to play tennis and to see one of my heroes play was the ultimate. Hope you get those tickets someday
I only live about 30 miles away from Wimbledon, but have never been, even though I watch it every year on TV. Maybe one of these years I’ll go, but I’ll probably end up buying tickets for the days when it rains!
I think I’d have to watch Roger Federer, he’s a genius and it would be great to look back on and think that I watched one of the best tennis players of all time.
Yeah, I’ve been to Wimbledon on the final game of Steffi Graf.. do you know her? It was amazing, but unfortunately too long ago..
For some reason I can’t imagine Wimbledon being anything like watching a game at Wrigley Field. Maybe the seat and views are comparable but half the fun of Wrigley is the atmosphere. I can’t imagine watching a tennis match has quite the same feel.
its real cool to watch a live Wimbledon match. watching highlights on tv and watching it there is a totally different experience.
I went to the US open last night and watched the Nadal Match. First live tennis match I’ve been at. what great energy.
