If that means giving people a great laugh, so be it. We resisted suggestions of dancing to forgettable, soppy romantic songs and did a bridal waltz to The Beatles. It absolutely made the evening. Ever since a friend walked down the aisle to the Star Wars Imperial March by John Williams, I’ve known that wedding music – be it for the dance or, if you’re brave, the ceremony itself – should be an extension of the couple’s personality.
