I know this is an old post but just wanted to update. PU2B has pretty much stopped doing the things that used to make them “fun”. No more giveaways (or, they announce a giveaway, say they’ll be announcing a winner, but don’t follow through). No more free products. Barely any assignments any more, for that matter. Most people are getting between 2 and four assignments every two week pay period. Some haven’t gotten any in months. A few of the “sherrif’s favorites” are still getting tons of assignments and when people post in the forums complaining about a dearth of assignments, these favorites pipe up with “It’s not that bad, stop complaining!”. Also I would wager that 9 of the past 10 paydays have been late. They blame the bank, PayPal, anyone but themselves… and then get annoyed when people say “You know, I was counting on that money to pay bills”. They seem to want it both ways: they like to think that they’re a Professional Paid Blogging Company, but they don’t behave professionally at all.

I removed my main blog because I was finding it hard to keep it as a personal blog and drop in the keywords on some assignments. There was only so many times I could talk about life insurance.

I am wary about what I post on their forums but of late it seems like hardly anyone uses them any more.

My one blog I still do work for them is a Blogspot blog (that they don’t accept anymore) gets hardly any readers so I can whip up posts and drop in the keywords with ease.

As long as they keep sending me more I figure I’ll spend the couple of minutes a post for $5, certainly paid for my Call of Duty game and maps.

It does seem at times there is one rule for some bloggers and different rules for others.
