This is the chain we made to count down the days till we go to Disney. We are a little less than 30 days out. Each day Madison takes off a link, and it helps to build excitement towards our trip!
Maybe to surprise your daughter for your next trip you could start another chain but instead of taking one off, put one on and it could spell out where you are going. Maybe have the words end like a week before the trip. Just a thought.
