50 Ways To Get Your CartOn

Since today is Earth Day, this is the perfect book to review! 50 Ways To Get Your CartOn is a book about taking milk and egg cartons in your house and reusing them. The book also as some egg-cellent stickers too (pun intended!).

On a more serious note, this book is made from 100% recycled materials and literally has 50 crafts that you and your children can do. I love that the majority of materials that these crafts need you will have in your house (I do have to admit that I had to run to Michael's to get pipe cleaners). You can make everything from bugs to a mobile to a vase to a planter box. Many of the crafts will make you wonder “why didn't I think of that?!?”. I have to admit that the school bus you can make with an egg carton is beyond cute!

If you want to teach your kids about recycling, this is the book. 50 Ways To Get Your CartOn is great for activities to do in the house that cost next to nothing, and it's a great way to reuse and recycle!
