AboutOne Review and Giveaway!

As many of you know, I have two kids in two different schools. Will just started school today, and Madison starts on Wednesday. Needless to say, I've got my hands full. They have different activities and have to be different places at different times. I am always on the lookout for something that will help me become more organized. AboutOne is an online productivity tool for home (aff) managers, AKA you and me, that comes with a digital filing cabinet for all the information life throws at you. Like your filing cabinet at home (aff), AboutOne is a great way to manage your family’s health, education, possession records, etc. It gives you access to your important information no matter where you are, and syncs your information with its calendar, address book, document filing, and reporting tools. Why is this important? It is great to have a paper record. However, what happens if you are out of town and can't access that (for us, that is huge since we spend a lot of time in Green Bay. It's a four hour drive, so getting a paper from home once we are there is impossible). We've also had crazy weather this year. This is a peace of mind product in case your house gets hit with crazy weather like floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and whatever else Mother Nature throws at it. You can still access the information you've put into AboutOne.

I love this software. I am sooo bad about filing things, and AboutOne makes it so easy to not only organize all my “stuff”, but it makes it even easier to access it again. It literally teaches you how to get organizedand how to declutter. That is huge for me. Every facet of your life can be put into here to, so you aren't having to check 4 calenders before you make a decision on any plans you may have. I love that it prints out instructions that lists emergency contacts and health/medical information you can hand to your babysitter. You can also keep track of your home value and all the work you've done on your house including contractor contact info and ratings. Since everything seems to be breaking in my house right now and having to be replaced, needless to say, this has been helpful. You can also keep a health history in there, so you aren't trying to remember what year you got your kidney stones out. Even better than that is that I can store my Christmas card list (and addresses) too!

If you like this digital filing system and more, I've got an awesome giveaway you are going to want to enter! One winner will be chosen at random from all entries across all the blogs involved in this campaign to receive the following prize: $500 AMEX gift card and an upgrade to a free subscription to AboutOne.com to 1 grand prize winner + a $250 donation to the school of their choice. All other entries will receive an email with a code for 25% off a one year subscription to AboutOne.com. This giveaway ends September 9th at 11:59 p.m. ET and is open to U.S. residents age 18 or older. Here's what you need to do:

    Hi Lisa
Thank you for the great review, in a couple of months we will have a new release that integrates all your documents and events directly with your google calendar & outlook calendar and in two weeks we will release our first iPhone app for Family Memories & Health.
If you would like to get an early release or give input into how you would like the calendar to work with two children and different school locations, we would love to take your feedback into the design. Its a very exciting project.
    Many thanks
    Joanne
