Help Us Raise Funds For The American Cancer Society Walk & Roll

An amazing thing happened when I lost almost 80 lbs., we became more active as a family. Even though Bill hasn't joined me in my weight loss, he decided that as a family we were going to do The American Cancer Society Walk & Roll this April. Walk & Roll speaks to us because funds raised enable the American Cancer Society to fight back against all cancers.

We are truly excited to be a part of this event and we hope you’ll support us. I know times are tough for many of us right now, so I appreciate any contribution you can offer. They say that every donation makes a difference, and it really is true. Your gift will mean so much to me and the cancer patients statewide. As a little extra inspiration, I thought you might like to know a few of the ways your donation will help the American Cancer Society save lives every day.

When you make a donation:

  • People in our community can stay well by getting the information and tools they need to help prevent cancer or find it early.
  • People with cancer will have a place to turn to around the clock to help them through every step of their cancer journey. Whether it’s a free ride to treatment, a place to stay near treatment or just talking to someone who’s “been there”, the American Cancer Society can be there for them.
  • People in our area will have access to lifesaving cancer screenings and treatments they need.

Each of us has our own reasons for caring about the fight against cancer. Whatever your reasons, I hope you’ll choose to make a difference by donating online to support our effort. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, 11 million cancer survivors are celebrating another birthday this year! Together we truly are saving lives and creating a world with more birthdays. I’m so grateful to have great people like you in my life who care about defeating cancer.

We are walking as a family under the team my husband's company works for. Help us to reach our goal!

Have a great walk. Unfortunately all my money is tied up in my March of Dimes walk.

That’s one of the charities we contribute to too!
