Baby Names 101

Have no worries – I am not having any more babies. However, I still like to see what names are popular every year. Plus, Will's name made the top 5 list in 2011! One of my friends just had a baby and name him Atticus which made the Trend list! Pish Posh Baby is having a Bugaboo Bee Stroller Contest too if you need one!

I’m irritated that Augustus is making a comeback. We thought we were being more original when we named Gus. 🙂

We’re still contemplating baby boy names. We have a couple in mind, but just have to make a final decision. Even then, I’m sure it’ll change a gazillion times before our baby boy arrives in August.

Isabella wasn’t big when I named my girl that but after all the Twilight stuff (which I love, but did not name her after LOL) it has gotten way more popular.

I love reading about names even though I’m not pregnant. It took us FOREVER to come up with our dude’s name!

One of my favorite characters, ever! Love that name, too. But I don’t think my husband would have went with it, either… so I didn’t even try 🙂

  5. Stefani

I wanted my daughter’s name to be unique but it is becoming more and more common.

I had no names picked out until I was in labor! Seriously, I had nothing. We finally named our daughter when she was just about 2 (we just called her Peanut until the adoption was final) and for my sons, I had nothing at all until my water broke. I didn’t know the sex of my babies, either. My natural children were named by me immediately after they were born, I just shouted out the name that came into my head!
