Brave: The Video Game – Nintendo Wii

Have you seen the new Brave movie? If so, you have to check out Brave: The Video Game – Nintendo Wii.

The winds of fate are blowing across the rugged Scottish countryside, a new legend is being born and the ability to change destiny is in your grasp. The only thing to do is put fear aside and be Brave. Nock your arrow, draw your bowstring and set your sights on greatness and honor as you travel back to the world of Scottish myth and lore for an immersive adventure based on the Disney/Pixar film, Brave. This time, it's your courage that's put to the test as you step into the shoes of Merida to take on fierce enemies and daunting obstacles on a mission to save the kingdom you hold dear.

This game places you in the middle of the adventure of a lifetime. With a magical curse holding your kingdom hostage, it's your turn to rise to the challenge and reshape your fate as the vivacious red head, Merida. You use archery and sword-handling skills to battle enemies and your wits to solve challenging puzzles. Along the way, you meet up with beloved characters from the film, including a playable Will ‘O The Wisp that lets a friend join in for co-op mode. Are you Brave enough to take hold of your destiny?

In this game, you run, jump and battle your way through the rolling hills of mythical Scotland. You play as Merida on a bold journey to release the kingdom from a magical curse. You use your archery and sword-handling skills, and use your weapons to fend off enemies throughout the game. You also use your wit to solve puzzles that will bring you closer to accomplishing your quest.

My kids love this game! It's super fun. We haven't seem the movie yet, so I can't compare it to that. However, if the movie is as good as the game, it is great! I personally love having a girl as your heroine. It sets a great example for my daughter! Madison has had a lot of fun with it, so I can only recommend it!
