Anybody who was born in the 90’s or who have had kids in the last ten years knows all about Blue’s Clues.  When it first started, Steve was the one we got to watch on the show with Blue.  However, halfway through its run, he decided to leave.  Due to a fun conversation that took place on Twitter this morning, I was to find out what Steve has been up to.  He left Blue’s Clues to start a music career, and it looks like he did just that.  However, I am glad to see that he still does some kids music too (see second video).

Though I do still find it weird to look at him with facial hair and a bald head. What do you think?

It is amazing that ABC will take money from Exxon and other oil and energy companies to play their commercials.  However, when someone comes up with an ad promoting *gasp* other fuels to use, they refuse to play it. Come on ABC, what is the real reason this ad can’t play?  Big oil in your pockets too?  Here is the commercial that is RePower America is trying to use.  What do you think?  Why won’t ABC play this?

Please forward this on, so ABC gets it into their heads that this is not okay. Of all the crappy male enhancement commercials I am stuck watching on a daily basis, this commercial is good and they won’t play it. If you feel this is wrong, here is a petition to sign to let ABC know how you feel.

Calling all actors

Well, you don’t even need to be an actor to be an extra in films or tv shows.  Extras do not usually have any lines, but are the background people you see in a scene walking a dog, pushing a stroller, eating at a restaurant, etc.  Depending on the project, you can easily make $100 - $300 a day pretty much doing nothing!  Anybody can do this kind of work too;  they are looking for people between the ages of 18 - 85.

Who would you love to work with?  Personally, I’d love to meet Leonardo DiCapro or Brad Pitt.  However, I am not picky, and I would love to love to meet any celebrity.  Heck, I wouldn’t mind just being in the background of any scene in a movie.  Movies are filmed everywhere, so it doesn’t really matter where you live either.  I can definitely see this working well for students and even moms.  With the economy the way it is, this may be helpful to those out of work right now too.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, definitely make sure you call Talent6 at 1-800-493-9047.  This is first step into becoming an extra and making some extra cash.  What are you waiting for?

Ok, if you have this TIVOd or missed watching it, quit reading right now!  If you don’t watch the show, well none of this will make sense.  I have to say that this was one of the best premieres ever!  Seriously, Nick steps back into the mess we like to call the Darling family.  Jeremy is after Nick’s wife who succombs to his kiss when he gets her drunk (though I can’t figure out why it was okay for him to kiss Karen but heaven forbid his wife does the same thing!).  Karen turns down Nick (who saw that coming?) for a kiss or more.  Now, I can’t tell for sure if Karen really fell for Simon or if they are still playing the game.  I also would love to know who he called after Karen left.  That I haven’t figure out yet.  I really don’t get why Patrick didn’t call the police after his wife hit her head?  He didn’t do it, so I don’t know why he had to cover it up.  The end of the show was the biggest surprise ever!  We all thought that they were coming for Patrick.  Instead, they arrested Letitia for Nick’s dad’s murder! Personally, I think she’s being set up.  I think this is a loose thread that the series will always have as a back story.

This is going to be a great season of Dirty Sexy Money!

Evolution of Wedding Dance

I want this husband! This is one of the funniest first dances I have ever seen at a wedding. It even beats the “baby got back” one that we all saw on TV and YouTube.

Let me know what you think. Would you do this at your wedding?
