Last weekend we did a lot of yard work. Madison picked these flowers for me:

At least she didn’t pick the pretty flowers along the house. I lucked out when we moved in that I had a wonderful flower bed along the side of my house. I know what the tulips are. However, I have no clue what anything else is.
I played around with my new SLR camera that I got from the Sony Mommy Blogger Event and took these pictures:

I would love to know what you all think. I am trying to remember the principle of thirds while doing taking my photos. I also took these using the Apature (I hope I spelled that right) setting. I would love to know any suggestions you all have to make them better.
Thanks!
While in Arizona, we bought a lot of postcards to show Madison where we have been. We have also bought her some of the area books. However, I have been downloading our pictures to the computer (don’t have them on Flickr yet though), and we have a lot of really great photos. You can check out my prior post about the view from our room for the pictures I got a chance to upload at this point. As you can tell, I think we may have some postcard quality pictures. We have been all over the area and to the Grand Canyon, so we have lots of great pictures.
Did you know that you can get some cheap postcards from Vista Print? I am considering do this with some of our best photos. They would hold up much better than just printing them out when we get home. I have also seen some people use these postcards for invitations for parties too. All you have to do is use the code BlogPostcards100 when you check out, and you can get 100 free postcards. Pretty nice, huh? (I am also considering getting some of their other products like their magnets and such and customize them with some of our pictures).
I wrote a post a couple of weeks back over at Lisa Reviews about Pampers Swaddlers and how much we love them in our house. They are one of the few diapers that don’t leak for my kids. They are worth every cent.
Pampers is now offering a very cool widget that you can play with and display. Remember the Silent Night Christmas commercial? You are able to add your own kids pictures in there. I don’t have a lot of pictures of my kids laying down or sleeping, so I picked a couple of cute pictures that I had.
I think they do a great job incorporating the pictures. Leave your links below, so I can see what you did with your kids with their top baby names whether it be on their crib mattress or with their diaper bag.
I thought you may want to see some more cute pictures of the kids:

Aren’t they cute? Now, if they could just stay like that. LOL
