Dr. Smith’s Launch

For many years, mothers of infants have sworn by a diaper rash ointment invented by a San Antonio pediatrician to solve his young patients’ painful problems. One by one, mothers, pediatricians and pharmacists have recommended Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment, and the product’s popularity has grown over the years by word-of-mouth. As a mom whose son has horrible sensitive skin, I couldn't wait to hear more about this!

Due to popular demand, San Antonio-based Mission Pharmacal, which acquired Dr.Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment in 2009, it is expanding distribution to make the product readily available to parents across the country. May parents across the nation rejoice! Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment is now available in all Walgreens stores throughout the United States and on Walgreens.com. Kroger will also offer this in all of its stores. Lastly, Walmart has increased the number of locations offering it!

I recently was able to attend a launch party where I got to talk to the company who makes this diaper rash ointment. Like I stated above, Will has super sensitive skin. He's my kid who would get diaper rash so bad he would get sores. I wish I knew about this when he was little! However, the poor kid still has issues with different things like swim trunks that bug his skin. I am always looking for products that will lessen any skin irritation for him. I will be reviewing this product a little later with Will and I am having my sister try it out on my niece who is 13 months old. I love a product that has a couple of uses!

I was in good company there! Not only did I get to meet the family who makes this great product, but the Rancics were there too! It was so nice to hear that this was really a labor of love for the company. They were totally about making life easier for moms. The Rancics use Dr. Smith's Diaper Rash Ointment, so it was great hearing from them. (Bill did make the comment that this works great for marathon trainers too!)
