Did you know that there is an International Federation of Snowball Throwing who would love to be part of the Olympics?  Until recently, me either!  If you think snowball throwing should be an official sport, please sign this petition!  This is something that is definitely taking off that even Coca-Cola is 100 percent behind this mission!

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.

And on the potty training front.  Well, something weird has happened with Will.  Really weird.  Bill and I were seeing who could be more stubborn.  We were out of diapers and neither of us wanted to run and get new ones.  That means, yesterday, Will got stuck in pullups because I had no other diapers.  This is where the weirdness comes in.  Will could sit in a wet diaper all day and not have it bother him.  However, as soon as he pees in the pullups, he takes it off, and goes and grabs a new one.  However, he won’t sit on the toilet (or the potty chair).  I’m not quite sure what to make of this.

That’s the updates on the home front.

I never know what to do about Madison.  I let her stay home today against what may be my better judgement, and Bill definitely thinks I am wrong.  As you all know, Madison has the weird genetic thing that when she gets sick, she gets really really sick and we end up in the hospital for a week.  So that is always playing in the back of my mind.  Well, me and her have the same cold (and let me tell you it sucks).  But, that’s not her problem.  She gets up this morning and tells me that her legs her to the point she can’t walk.  Normally, I’d dismiss it, but that’s the tell tale sign she shows when there’s something up.  I made her get up eat breakfast and gave her some Tylenol.  She’s been up almost two hours now, and her legs still hurt and every so often her arms start hurting.  Last time I ignored her legs hurting, she almost passed out in Walmart, and when I checked her keytones they were high.  Well, she’s been off all weekend so I am wondering if she’s getting sick.  I’m pushing fluids right now on her and she did eat breakfast.  I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that she isn’t running high keytones.  But if she isn’t, why are her legs hurting so bad?  Did I just let her stay home because she has growing pains?

I feel like I can’t win with her.  If I ignore what’s going on, she’s sick and I just made the situation worse.  If she is dehydrated, they aren’t going to push her to drink like I will here (which is what I think her problem may be).  I do have to add that she’s been “off” all weekend.  She was super crabby and whiny on Saturday and falling asleep in the chair last night is so not her.  If I let her stay home, she’ll perk up in the afternoon (Though right now she’s laying in my bed drinking).  So what do you do?  As I said, some days it’s hard to be a mom and make the right decision.
