There is nothing better than a girls night out. Sometimes due to babysitting issues, we decide to have a girls night in, where us moms get to have some fun and make the kids go play in the basement. (I have a finished basement, so no worries there.) When I asked my girlfriends to come over to help me review wine and chocolate, they were all in especially my friend Paula. She came over after 12 hour shift at the hospital and had a terrible day. This girls night in was exactly what the doctor ordered!
For those of you who haven't had Brookside before,Brookside Chocolate is rich, dark chocolate with sweetened soft centers made with exotic fruit flavors. It's chocolate like you've never experienced before. It's beyond delicious and perfectly pairs with wine!
The wine we had with the Brookside chocolate was Clos du Bois. They began with a vision of blending fine French winemaking techniques with the best Sonoma grapes to craft a range of balanced, approachable wines. Year after year, their wines have been appreciated by both wine critics and wine lovers alike.

Us girls talked about a little of everything. We laughed till we cried and our stomachs hurt. We all had a great time with some great wine and chocolate. It's a night we all won't soon forget (and we are planning on having another with wine and chocolate!).
