Just to show you that I really do shop at Jewel I snapped a quick picture of my receipt from grocery shopping yesterday.
Yes, that is what happens when -50 windchills hit your area, and your kids get 2 snow days. You end up eating yourself out of house and home! Seriously! After I dropped the kids off to school, I had an amazing shopping trip. Jewel went over and beyond what I expected today. Since my iron is so low, I am trying to eat foods high in iron. One of the foods I found that is high in iron is shrimp. I have been buying fresh shrimp so I can eat them as a snack (and shrimp is one of my favorite foods). The lady was just setting up the shelves when I asked if I was able to get shrimp or if I had to wait. She said that she'd help me and since they had some left over shrimp from the day before, she'd sell it to me for half price. I have no issue eating day old shrimp, so I happily jumped at that!
What truly impressed me with Jewel's customer service the most is what happened when I went to check out. Jewel does ask if you want help out normally. I usually turn them down. However, it was so cold yesterday morning. I also had a cart and then half of another cart full. They asked if I wanted to pull up to the front of the building, and they would help me load my van. Well in below zero windchill temps, I am not turning that down! I couldn't thank them enough. Also, since I was alone, having help really cut the time outside in half.
I love that Jewel went the extra step to give me hand. What great customer service experiences have you had?
