Have Sprint Come Direct 2 You

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Sprint. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

One of the hard things about changing phones is getting all your data over to a new phone. I know I have hundreds of contacts and a bunch of apps that all have to be moved over if I change phones. It is one of the reasons I, in the past, hated and didn't change phones as often as I could. That is why I was so excited to hear about Sprint Direct 2 You. This will forever transform the way you buy or upgrade your mobile phones! Sprint Direct 2 You allows you to schedule a Sprint expert to come to the comfort of your home, office or other desired location to set up new mobile devices, and transfer all content including contacts, pictures, videos, and apps from an old device to a new one! I can tell you that this service saved me several hours! The Sprint expert can also perform a tutorial and offer tips to help in becoming familiar with the new device all while doing so in a location and time of your choice.

2015-09-01 11.02.22Direct 2 You is a national program and the service is now available in more than 50 cities. Direct 2 You is available in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Washington D.C. and surrounding areas. They will be rolling into many more markets real soon.

When I had Sprint do my phone, I had them meet me at Jason's Deli which is a local restaurant. Normally, I would have had them come to the house but it was 90 degrees out and I didn't want to have to kick my dog outside for an extended period of time. The gentlemen from Sprint were already waiting for me when I got there. This was the easiest transition ever. While everything was transferring, he showed me the cool features on the phone and even told me about some I didn't know about! He answered all my questions and told me what he was doing each step of the way (and why he did each thing). He was thoroughly knowledgeable. I can honestly say it was an enjoyable, stress free experience. I would totally have Sprint do this for me again!

Sprint sure has come a long way. I love all the great programs they offer now a days.

  2. Jeanette

Very interesting concept. I am honestly not sure if I would use it or not. I think that it is a great idea especially for someone that can’t get to the store.

  3. Clarissa

This is very interesting! Being a sprint costumer for over 4 years, they have came a long way and improved tremendously. I’ll definitely need to show my husband this post.

  4. I would absolutely use that service. I hate having to go to the kiosk when I need to change phones. I’d much rather do this.

  5. Megan Elford

Wow, I’ve never actually heard of customer service like that! That’s amazing, I would for sure use a service like Sprint’s.

  6. Jenn

That is such a cool program! I didn’t realize that sprint offered such a service. I’ll have to look into this!

  7. Jesica H

I was always told that sprint was bad in my area, but maybe I will have to re check. I know there packages/plans out rank most!

  8. Annemarie LeBlanc

That would really help save their customer hours of trying to move all their files to a new device. I love that Sprint does this. It just shows that they really care for their subscribers.

I hear you. That’s what I hate about changing smartphones. I don’t like to go to the trouble of transferring all my files and apps. This sounds like a great service and I will most definitely consider this when I change my phone.

I don’t think we have sprint here, but I always wish we did when I see things like this. I hate changing phones and losing all my stuff. I usually change because of a broken phone which makes it super hard to even get things off my old phones.

We have never tried any Sprint services. This sounds like a great option for those who don’t travel or can’t drive,

  13. I have never heard of Sprint’s Direct 2 You so thanks for sharing, I am on Verizon right now and I am not sure if I will be switching anytime soon but I will definitely keep this in mind just in case.

  14. I have tried using other phones and programs and I always end up going back to my original. I am a creature of habit and like to stick with what feels comfortable.

Direct 2 You sounds like a really cool feature for smartphone users. I have no need for this since I haven’t made the switch to one yet. I just don’t use my phone enough to make the switch yet.
