Head over to Raging Waves This Summer!

disclosure

Man, it has been hot in Chicago this week. One of the places we love to take the kids is Raging Waves here in Yorkville, IL. Over the last couple of years, you may have seen some of the many photos that we have taken while having fun there. There is something for everyone at Raging Waves. Over 45 acres, you will find Koala Cave for the younger crew, Kangaroo Falls for the older ones, and all the slides for the teens, tweens, and adults. They also have a Lazy River and Wave Pool and a huge area where the kids can play in the sand! I love that their prices are very reasonable too. Several years ago, I packed clothes for everyone but myself to change into afterwards. Awkward, let me tell you. I was able to buy a souvenir shirt for $10. $10, that's it! My mistakes wasn't an expensive one, and I got a great keepsake that I still wear! I also love that they add new things every single year! Wonambi is their new slide this year!

If you have a food allergy or a kid with one, they are so willing to work with you. I highly, highly recommend calling beforehand and letting them know. They can and will tell you what you can/can't have and are more than accommodating.

You know how clean Disney parks are? Well, I would rank Raging Waves up there for cleanliness. You constantly have employees sweeping and picking things up. It's actually quite impressive with the amount of people there!

There is always tons of shows and special events there too! You can even do a birthday party there!

Since we love this place so much, I have arranged for my readers to get$5 Off General Admission Tickets! Just useRAMBLINGS16when you purchase your tickets online.

What is your most favorite thing about Raging Waves? Will we see you there this summer?

Oh my gosh, my grandkids would have an absolute blast there. I’m sure I would as well because I’m a big kid at heart. The savings would be worth trying it out for anyone in the area.
