Healthy Foods from A to Z: Comida sana de la A a la Z Giveaway!

One of the most important skills we can teach our children is how to make healthy food choices. Healthy Foods from A to Z is one of those tools we can use to help our kids make good food choices. It is a children's book, with fantastic pictures that reveal healthy food choices by name on each page from A to Z. Each of the foods on each page forms an interesting face, each with different expressions that show different emotions. The author has also added the English and the Spanish version of each food. Some of the foods show up on the alphabet page with its Spanish name and some of the food show up on the alphabet page with it's English name. At the end of the book there is a bilingual description of each food unveiling the origin of each food as well as its nutritional value – parents and kids alike will learn why grapes are not just good but are good for them as well as and why after eating beans, a child's energy will soar. As one more added bonus, Healthy Foods from A to Z includes an activity page where children can create their own “food face,” and a suggestion page of other healthy food projects. This book will keep parents and children busy for hours and hours.

My thoughts of this book? I love it! Madison's been trying to teach herself Spanish, so she found the English and Spanish words great. (Yes, she's going into third grade and taking on a foreign language!). The pictures in this book are awesome. I wanted to take some of these foods and make my own faces with them. The kids couldn't wait to turn the pages to see the next face. That excitement alone makes it worth getting this book! I also loved that this book introduced some foods my kids had not seen before. This is just a super fun book.

Since we liked this book so much, I have arranged for one of my lucky readers to get a copy for themselves! Here's what you need to do:
