Hot Flashes

I like to think that I am too young for menopause. However, I know that you can get early onset menopause, and there is treatment for hot flashes and all the other symptoms you get when menopause strikes.

As I've heard, hot flashes, sweatiness, and sleeplessness are all common signs of menopause. However, with products like Amberen out there, you don't have to just deal with it. (Sometimes you have to love modern science.) The scary thing is that you can hot flashes for up to 15 years after menopause! That just seems completely unfair!

It has been shown that the withdrawal of estrogen is why all these symptoms (among others) happen. The other thing at play is the hypothalamus. Not only does it regulate body temperature, it also calibrates your hormones.

Now, there are a ton of products on the market that require a prescription. However, there is a natural, nonprescription remedy you can also take like Amberen that can help with your menopausal symptoms.
