I miss this

I was going through my pictures, so I could write some posts up over at My Road Less Traveled By, and I came across this picture. Man, I miss this. Here in Chicago, it is cold and everything is dead. This was our view driving in from the resort to downtown Sedona.

That is absolutely gorgeous. Can you imagine waking up with that view every morning for the rest of your life? It makes my little bitty mountain view look like nothing.

I would love to see this every morning again. My view here sucks. LOL

Great view! It's miles better than the grey scenario we have in Britain.

It's so beautiful there. In 1998 I visited my sister-in-law (my son was living with her at the time and working at the airport in Phoenix) and my son took me to Sedona and we went on a boat tour on a lake that I can't remember the name of right now. I was just in awe of the mountains.

I have to agree. I would love to live there (well, except in the summer when its 112)

  6. Wow, you managed to get a really nice picture there. I remember seeing some scenery like this when our family visited the Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks back in 1988. We took some pictures too, but I don't think the quality was as good as this one.

I knew that looked familiar! I visited Sedona last April and fell in love with it, everything about the area was beautiful. The group I was with did one of those Pink Jeep tours, it was so much fun.

This picture really captures the beauty of it!

Beautiful! We were just there exactly one month ago. Being a Vancouverite (Canada), when I'm there during winter and I see photos of AZ, it pulls me back to travel again, which is why I'm here right now. Wish I could send you some sunshine!

I lived in Phoenix and took motorcycle trips all the time there. Now I live in Kansas City. I know what you mean.
