January . . . Go Away

Ever have one of those days, or weeks, or months. Well, I'm about to send out printable invitations to my pity party. That's how great January has treated us. I'm just hoping it is January and not 2013 — I don't think I can take much more of this!

We started off this year with not one but two funerals. Two of my uncles died.

My 5 month old niece got a kidney infection, and she was pretty sick for a few days there.

Then our dishwasher (aff) broke. (Had to buy a new one)

Then my van broke. (Another $500 in repairs. I blew the water pump and thermostat, so I had to fix them if I wanted to drive my van ever again).

Then on Monday, I broke one of my teeth. I headed over to the dentist to see what they could do. Their first appointment? Wednesday. Not Wednesday as in tomorrow. They can't see till Wednesday of next week!!!!!

I wasn't kidding about those invitations to my pity party! I'm sitting here writing this post with temporary filling stuff I bought at Walgreens and I just took 800 mg of Ibuprofen. This month has bee so bad that Bill isn't taking his car in to get his oil changed in January, because we are worried they are going to tell us that something is wrong with that too!

February can only get better, right?

Definitely makes my last week (that I thought totally sucked) a cake walk. I hope February is much nicer to you and your tooth is fixed fast. Tooth pain is unbearable!
