KidsEmail.org

As a parent myself, there is a very find line between allowing your kids to use technology responsibly. I have a good kid. However, there are too many weird people out there that worry me. That is where KidsEmail.org comes in. Their service makes it easier to allow your children to learn about technology while still being safe. With a safe and easy to use email interface, your children will be able to keep in contact with parents and grandparents. With our parental controls, spam filtering, and many useful features, you can decide how much control to give your child when communicating with others online.

I was able to set up an account for Madison (my eight year old) in less than five minutes. It was very easy, and you don't need an IT degree to figure it out. There was great explanations for what each setting means. I have Madison's set up that she can only email people that I add to her contact list (like her aunts, uncles, and grandparents). I also set it up so that it emails me every time she emails out or if somebody emails her. They have also simplified the email too:

It is very easy for kids to use. You can also set up time restrictions:

KidsEmail.org's mission is to protect children from predators, pornography, and email from strangers. Their goal is to give parents the tools to protect their children in a manner that is simple and effective. KidsEmail.org, in my opinion, does just that.
