I am always on the lookout for books for Madison to read that catch her attention. Legacy of the Clawfits the bill and is for kids in the middle grades. This book is the first in the new series Animas. This series will be featuring adventurous heroes and their animal kin as they fight to save their kingdom.

In the Animas series, kin means more than just family – it is a harmonious link that connects humans and animals. It also guides everything in this world. However, our lead character Bailey hasn't found his kin yet. Without an Animas, he's destined to be an outsider. When he's accepted into the prestigious Fairmount Academy, he's determined to Awaken to his Animas. Once there, Bailey can't resist the pull of the dark mysteries surrounding the kingdom. Bailey can't shake the feeling that the root of the unrest, and the key to his Awakening lies in an old riddle entwined around an even older prophecy. This prophecy that may reveal the truth about the rightful king of Aldermere, and Bailey may be the only one who can unravel them. Now, I can't answer that question without giving away anything. 🙂 That being said, Madison enjoyed reading this book. She read it one night and didn't want to put it down. In my house, that is a great sign! Legacy of the Claw (Animas Book One) is a must read book!
