IMG_1437Did you know that the average car is 11.4 years? That means some of us own cars that were on the road before the iPhone was released! I know I am one of those — my van is 10 years old. Cars this old didn't have all the fancy dancy gadgets that the new ones do know. However, have no fear, you don't have to buy a new car just to get some of those functions anymore! There are a ton of after market products you can add to your vehicle! I recently attended the TNTChicago event where I got to check out these devices, and I know a few of these are now on my Christmas list!

This next product is on my Christmas list! The Pioneer AVIC-7100NEX multimedia receiver with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto brings the familiar controls of your smartphone to your in-dash system. Go hands-free for calls, ask Siri to check the weather or use Google Maps to avoid traffic. ($699)

Lastly, there is theCobra Drive HD Dash Cam ($199.95) that records everything the driver sees, even at night thanks to infrared LEDs. When the built-in accelerometer senses a sudden acceleration or collision, it automatically save video surrounding the incident. You can also get some great video of your surroundings!

These are a lot of aftermarket car gadgets that are pretty cool. I know that I want quite a few of them! Which ones are you interested in?
