My New Kitchen Love

When we moved into my house, we had lots of things that we have slowly updated. My house was built in the 1930s, so needless to say, we have had to fix a lot of things. We have remodeled the basement, remodeled the bathroom, added a bathroom, installed a dishwasher (aff), bought a new stove — as you can see, I can go on and on. I luck out that I have a fairly big kitchen. However, the way my kitchen is set up is counter-productive. Eventually, we will be reconfiguring the whole kitchen. For now, we just changed out the kitchen faucet.

That is what my old faucet looked like. It wasn't all that functional. It was plastic. It was ugly.

It was also a royal pain the butt to get out too. We lucked out that Bill's friend Tony is a plumber. Come to find out, to get this faucet out, you need a special tool that you just can't buy at Home (aff) Depot or Lowe's.

Installing the Danze Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet was very easy. It took a little over an hour (and that included cleanup). The directions were very easy to read and the illustrations that came with also were extremely helpful.

Here is the quick product description:

Ceramic disc valve.
16 ¾” high spout, 9″ spout length.
2 (aff) function spray/aerated stream.
Twist control spray.
Quiet running hose with spring retraction.
Single hole mount.
Compliant with low lead content requirements of California AB-1953 and Vermont Act 193.

However, what does my family think of the Danze Faucet? We absolutely love it. We went from a faucet with little water pressure to one with a lot. It looks great. It works awesome. I can easily clean out my sinks now. I love that I can easily put a pitcher or a pot underneath without having to fight to get it in.

I highly recommend this faucet. We are in love!
