Raise a Well- Rounded Child

This is a guest post.

Excelling in studies is undoubtedly important for children these days. To be able to be competitive in everything, especially where academic is concerned is very important if you want to be better than everyone else. It's a dog eat dog's world out there and-excelling academically will give them a good head-start in everything as it will provide them with better opportunities in getting scholarship, sponsorship and whatnot when they're ready to pursue their tertiary education.

However, it is important to remember that as parents, we ought to nurture our children to be a well-rounded person instead of just someone whose nose is stuck in the book. Excelling in exams means nothing if they lack in everything else. Children shouldn't just be book-smart, but street-smart and talented too.

Encouraging them to participate in extra-curricular activities like learning to play some musical instruments or singing will definitely help if you don't want your children to grow up to be just a bore. Singing lessons will definitely be less stressful and much more from than studying, I reckon. I bet lively children will enjoy taking singing lessons should you manage to encourage them to do so.

Would love to let your children take singing lessons but not quite sure where you can get an instructor or tutor for it? Well, fret not,First Tutorshave plenty of tutors who is qualified in giving your children or teenagers singing lessons. All you need is to hop over towww.firsttutors.com/uk. Apart from providing tutors who can tutor your children in the mainstream subjects, First tutors have plenty of tutors who are specialized in teaching kids to play musical instruments as well as teach them how to sing too.

Isn't that great? Well, I certainly think it's great as you don't have to crack your head on where you can find tutors who will be able to teach your children on how to sing. These type of tutors are certainly rare and hard to come by these days.

My son has participated in sports and the arts. He excels in theater/acting, so that is what he does. He takes acting classes and things to improve his skills. It has helped him to win 4H speech contests, too. 🙂 He has taken guitar lessons and we’d like for him to take either violin or piano, sometime soon.

This is such a great post. I always encouraged my son to try new things, and exposed him to the arts and new experiences as much as possible.

Cost can definitely be prohibitive for a lot of these things, but we try to get our kids into activities.
