In light of the recent nationwide tragedies, musicmedia agency Artists & Brands and Jira Productions are launching a national contest hoping to unite people by creating a music video. The album Refections was born of a need to encourage people to take some time to survey their life, their relationships, their thoughts, their dreams and reflect. Music so often underscores our lives.
Beginning March 1st and ending March 16th at 11:59pm, individuals 18 years and older can submit their version of a music video inspired by one of the songs on the newly released CD “Reflections.” At the end of the contest, one lucky winner will receive $1000 if their video is selected. If you’re a fan of the new age sound fused with a splash of jazz, you’ll be blown away at the dynamics brought to life on this historic piano collaboration. This contemporary CD, produced by Music Composer Ira Antelis and performed by World Renowned Artist Fred Simon, is an album that appeals to all music lovers.
The entries will be judged by a group of professionals including WGN-TV’s Nancy Lou, McDonalds Corporation’s Senior Creative Director Diane Pomierski, Radio Personality Nikki Woods of the nationally syndicated “Tom Joyner Morning Show”, Big Lots’ Broadcast & Special Promotions Manager Thomas Clark and New Chapter Entertainment’s CEO Candi Carter formerly of Harpo Productions.
In order to enter this nationwide competition, qualified applicants must do the following:
1. Download your favorite Reflections track from itunes
2. Upload your video to your own youtube channel
3. Attach your video as a comment to the Contest announcement video on the RefectionsCDSocial youtube channel
4. Log onto iraantelis.com and complete the entry form
The winner will be announced March 24th at the Reflections concert. The person with the most views will receive a $100 gift card. This competition is open to individuals, families, classrooms and community organizations who want to capture through the power of the video what it really means when you take time and reflect.
Good luck!
