Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents Barnum’s FUNundrum

My family and I went to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents Barnum’s FUNundrum last night. I have one word for it: AWESOME. Okay, I may have yelled that, but my husband and I enjoyed the show just as much as the kids. Now, we did go to the show last year, and it was good. However, the show had a lot of magic in it and that isn't something that I remember the circus having. However, this show was exactly how I remember the circus as a kid. It was awesome to see my kids faces light up with awe and delight (though Madison's could have been from the ENTIRE bag of cotton candy she ate. She also fell asleep on the way home, so I don't think the pound of sugar she ate affected her all that much). If this show comes to your down, seriously, you have to go. It is great.

First, there is the preshow. Madison actually got pulled out of the crowd for this! (she's in a red shirt!)

The opening of the show:

Some of the acts:

My own personal favorite part was when the super hero clowns pulled up:

The close of the show was an awesome celebration too!

I'd recommend every family to go see this show. It's that good!

Wow! The human entertainment looks exciting, but ever since my family saw pictures of Ringling Bros Circus trainers physically pulling nursing baby elephants away from their mothers and watched a bullhook and electric prod being used on these babies to train them to perform in circus acts, we don’t go to circuses with performing animals anymore.

There are many videos on YouTube showing these animals being abused behind the scenes. If you think animals should be treated humanely, please don’t take your children to circuses that use performing exotic animals.
