All Rufus Leroy Williams III wants is to go to school so he can learn to read his favorite book. But there's one problem: he's a pig and Principal Lipid says: “NO PIGS IN SCHOOL!” Rufus even gets a backpack, a lunchbox, and a blanket to prove he's ready. But Mr. Lipid won't budge. Is there ANYTHING Rufus can do to change his mind? Kim Griswell and illustrator Valeri Gorbachev have created a love letter to reading that's also a charming, original, and child-friendly first-day-of-school story.
Rufus Goes To School is a really cute story. Like all little kids, all Rufus wants is to go to school. The story is short but definitely holds your kids attention. The pictures are awesome. I really liked this book and highly recommend it.
My kids love bedtime stories so I am always on the lookout for new ones that are short enough so we can read a few. I will have to look for this one.
Looks like a great book to read to your little one as they go to bed
This sounds like a great book for my grand kids. They are both getting ready for school and they would love this book. I will put this book on the back to school shopping list.
This would make a nice gift for my friends daughter…they like pigs and her last name used to be Bacon (lol).
This looks so cute! My son starts school this week, he’d probably love this.
Sounds like a cute book!
My daughter(5) is all about school! My son on the other hand not so much (he’s 12)
Great book for kids getting ready for their first day of school.
