Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm

In Chicago, there are very many pumpkin farms to choose from. However, one of my favorite farms has to the Siegel's Cottonwood Farm.

They just have so many funny things besides pumpkins here! (Don't get me wrong — we did get our pumpkins from here after we had fun there all day long!)

There are 20 attractions that your kids can play with/on that is included in your general admission. Like the feeding/petting zoo:

Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm is a Family owned & operated business. They have 40 Acres of Affordable Family Fun! New this year, they added Statesville Zombie Paintball Ride and Lexi's Jumpin' Blob Jamboree! They even had a zombie paintball course for the little ones (my kids would have freaked out on the paintball ride!)

You can stay as long as you like. General Admission includes all attractions except Pony Rides, Statesville Zombie Paintball Ride, Lexi's Jumpin Blob Jamboree, Gem Mining, Climbing Wall and Spooky Spiral. Those 6 items are available for a small additional fee. However, there are so many photo opps you can get with your kids.

We even did the corn maze without buying a map. Here's us heading in:

We let the kids lead us through the maze and eventually worked our way out. I took Will's picture at every one of these. Will loves them.

If you are wanting to go for an afternoon and have an amazing time, I highly recommend Siegel's. It is the only pumpkin farm I know of in the area that has you actually picking your pumpkins right off the vine! You'll have a great family day out there!

I love going to farms that have fun set up for kids. My husband and I took the kids last year to a corn maze and farm and they got to all pick their pumpkins. They had a blast.

Wow that looks like a really interesting pumpkin farm with lots of attractions to enjoy.

    And in Chicago! Sweet!
