Snip, Burn, Solder, Shred

If you are ever looking for something to do with your kids, Snip, Burn, Solder, Shred is a book you need! There are 24 awesome do it yourself projects that just about any one can do. The projects range from cardboard boomerangs to an electric guitar and everything in between. The book is super easy to follow and written in plain English. It has a ton of pictures, so you know that you are doing the project correctly at each step. There is even a 26 page primer on electronics and soldering. I love that each project gives you a tool list and supply lists. Most of the items needed for these projects are also found around your home (aff).

Snip, Burn, Solder, Shred is a great book. It has a ton of great fun projects you can do as a family.

Might pick this up. Sounds much better than them staring at their Nintendo DS things any chance they get.
