You all know how I feel about President Bush. If you do not, well let’s just say I did not vote for the man. Either time. That being said, I found a site called White House Countdown. They poke fun at all in the political spectrum. This isn’t a site against just Republicans or just Democrats. It picks on them both (quite well, might I add). I personally like the Candidate Maker. If you don’t like your choices right now for President, make your own! They also have videos that people have made. Make sure you have some free time before you delve into there. You can lose hours while you watch these and laugh. There are several games you can play like PAC Attack (Political Action Committee), Paintball Politics, and Fat Cat Ball. These games are so easy to do that my 3 year old was having a blast with me this morning!  You can also find trivia games, caption contests, and opinion forums.  There is a little something for everyone.

This is the first gaming site dedicated to the 2008 elections and they have done a fine job at it too. If you can’t take a joke, don’t bother checking this out. If you can, have fun! Sign up is free, so what are you waiting for?

Well, I made a huge decision today.  I decided to send Madison to 3 year old preschool.  Smartwise I think she is fine.  However, I think we need to work on her socialization skills.  I found a program that we can afford.  I am going to sign her up tomorrow.  They have an open house on Thursday I think we are going to attend.  She starts Sept. 4th.  She will go Tuesday and Thursdays.

Lisa Martin is a native of Wisconsin but now resides in the Chicago area with her husband and two children ages 7 and 4. She is a work-at-home mom who uses her skills and talents for freelance jobs. We went to the new doctor today for Madison’s 3 year old check up. She is 38 1/2 inches tall and 34 lbs. That means she gained 1/2 inch and 3 lbs in the last 6 months. Not bad kid. We are starting her on a multivitamin. They are also putting her on a prescription for her pooping problem. This is something we have been messing around with since she was 7 months old. Finally, a doctor is willing to fix the situation instead of telling me she’ll outgrow it. This doctor also showed me how the bones in her legs are curved and that’s why she toes in when she walks. This is something she will outgrow by the time she is a teenager. She has also been crossing her eyes. She was doing this at the drs office too. So now we have to take her to a pediatric eye doctor. Fun, fun, fun. That appt is set up for the 23rd.

Madison turns the big 3 today. Woo hoo. We had her birthday party yesterday. Today, she chose to wear her Tinkerbell costume all day. She also got a fairy costume for her Build-A-Bear that we had to dress up. I think she’s getting a little cold. We go for our 3 year old check up tomorrow with a new doctor, so I’ll have them look at it.
