We decided to join a new church here. We haven’t 100% decided to send Madison to private school yet (we have a school referendum on Nov. 4th. If that passes, it solves all of my issues with the public school. However, after watching the debates of Friday night, that may not hold true either. If McSame, I mean McCain, wins he proposed a spending freeze. In theory, that sounds great. However, the schools don’t have enough money for No Child Left Behind as is. If they keep the amount frozen, that means even less money going towards the kids.) The church we joined is a part of hte private school we are looking at. It is a very cool looking church, and we have been there before. Bill’s friend got married there and his daughter will be baptized there this weekend. We also started working on her tuition. They have a program called VOICE. That has you buy gift certificates from them for stores like Speedway, Kohls, Jiffy Lube, Walgreens, etc. to name a few. A percentage of the purchase amount goes towards the school. Madison has to raise $150 with that. With the certificates I bought on Sunday, we are up $17. Woohoo! The cool thing is that everything we earn over the $150 gets taken off her tuition. If we don’t end up sending her there, I just figure that money will go towards another family who can use it. I just think that is super cool that we can start earning towards this now already! So, if anyone needs gift certificates come Christmas time, let me know!
I’ll be honest, this school decision makes me sick. I get a stomach ache every time I have to think about it. I would rather have to use a colon cleanser than have to make this decision. Public schools are suppose to be good. I shouldn’t have to worry about the class sizes or if subjects like music and art are being taught. I just always assumed that my kids would be able to have the same education I have.
**okay, whine over. I think**

I miss sixty degrees and warm weather. We came home to thirty degrees and snow. Yesterday sucked though. We had to drive 2 hours to the airport. Then, we had a four hour flight to Georgia. Then, we had a two hour layover before we hopped a plane to Chicago for another two hours. Needless to say, today we feel pretty bad (I wouldn’t say to the level of having fibromyalgia but man, I feel like my body has been through the ringer). I have had a couple people ask why we flew so weird. Well, the tickets we used were the ones I won on the Rachel Ray show. They were Delta tickets, and this was our only choice for a flight.
Everybody is doing well — just a little tired. I am hoping to get some posts written up this weekend about the trip, so I can show you guys all the cool stuff we did in Arizona. It was a trip in a lifetime, since I cannot see us going back there.

I always thought altitude sickness was just kinda made up. Well, now being in Arizona, I have definitely learned different. We are on the second level of our building, so we have to walk down a flight of stairs and then walk up another flight to get to our car (it is hard to explain, but you would have to see it know what I am talking about). I will admit Bill and I are out of shape. However, we can walk up a flight of stairs (even 2) without getting winded. However, by the time we get to the top up by our car, we feel like we have had several corsets wrapped around us and tied as tight as possible. You cannot breathe. I have been so winded. The other thing we noticed (besides our ears popping all the time) is that our memory isn’t as good here and that sometime we seem to get altitude headaches. I now have an appreciation for when people talk about altitude sickness and how it effects you. It really does.
Oh yeah, I apologize to anyone who has commented and I haven’t gotten back to them. I’m on vacation.

I am sick. Very sick. That’s why I haven’t been posting lately. My nose is running like Delta faucets. I am dizzy and my body aches. My brain hurts. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to get Madison to school today. It is 0 degrees out and with the wind chill it is -17 degrees. Yes, that is cold. I have some stuff I really want to post about today, so hopefully I can get my brain working.

I am still pretty sick though. I am on 500 mg of dicloxacillin every 6 hours and 1000 mg of Tylenol every six hours. I am still running a fever and now the pain has spread. I now have the pain in my left breast too! I am pumping every 2 – 3 hours, and it is doing nothing. My milk supply has gone done since this all started. I am dizzy, lightheaded, and nauseous. All my muscles ache. I have to call my OBGYN back this afternoon if I still don’t feel better, and they most likely will get me in for an appointment at the end of the day.
Right now, I just want to climb into bed and sleep. However, the three year old here doesn’t want to do that.
