Disney On Ice presents Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3

Chicago has had a rough couple of days. We had the third largest snow storm (20+ inches) hit our area. However, a glimmering light at the end of the tunnel has to be the Toy Story 3 show we saw last night (we’ll just forget the 2 1/2 hours it took for us to get there. Needless to say, I hate driving in Chicago). I don’t know how Disney does it, but Toy Story 3 On Ice had to be the best Disney On Ice show we’ve seen to date. It was beyond awesome.

If you’ve not seen any of the Toy Story movies, that was okay. They really laid out the story very well and followed the movie extremely well. I was wondering how it would play out on ice, and it was just as good as the movie!

Toy Story 3 On Ice had all of our favorite characters in it. You, of course, had your characters that were in the first two movies like Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Slinky Dog. When I asked Will his favorite part of the movie, his response was Woody and Buzz! (He then told me they swinged on the ice. I’m not sure if he meant skated, but he thought they were swinging. We are just going with it.)

Madison and my favorite part of the show had to be Barbie and Ken. It was funny. Though, Bill’s favorite part of the show was Ken too. He’s just so corny that it is quite funny.

Our thoughts? Run to Toy Story 3 On Ice. It is that awesome. I would pay to see it again. I can’t wait to see what Disney comes out with for next year, because this will be hard to top! (On a side note, Disney needs to release a soundtrack for this show. Madison kept hitting me because I was singing along with it! I certainly would buy it!). My kids loved it, my husband loved it, and I loved it!

Will’s First Haircut

I’d like to start by saying that I didn’t want to cut his hair.  I like the little curls he had in the back of his hair.  I thought they were cute.  However, everyone and their brother was bugging me to cut his hair.  When everybody else was getting their hair done on Sunday, I thought there would be no better time to do this.  Now, you can’t tell how curly from this picture, but it was pretty bad (and cute).  Will has such fine hair, so I did not want to do a buzz cut.  It would look like he had no hair if we did that (especially if we were in a low light situation which a lot of my house. We have corners in our house that we get about as much light as tea light candles give off). Bill agreed, so at least, we didn’t have to fight over that.  When we got home, Will was due for a nap and was not in the mood for pictures.  However, I did get this one.  This is Will with his new haircut.  What do you think?  (Bill thinks he looks like a little man.)
