As you can see, Madison got herself dressed this morning. Now, I had picked her out some matching clothes and put them on her bed. Why she didn’t put them on, I’ll never know. However, she must have her daddy’s fashion sense if she thinks yellow and purple match. LOL

Getting Dressed All By Myself
Wednesday, May 28th, 2008The Shopping Trip
Monday, April 14th, 2008Ok, so clothes shopping yesterday wasn’t the end of the world. I actually found everything I needed at Target. I had a gift certificate (Thanks Ted!), so I used that to buy two pairs of shorts and two shirts. I bought myself a new pair of shoes too, since I could not find my sandals (which magically appeared after I got home). Normally trying to find clothes is like looking for Kentucky Derby Party Invitations — you know, extremely hard to find. I lucked out. I also ended up buying Bill’s niece two dresses for her birthday in July. They were too cute, and I knew if I didn’t buy them now, they wouldn’t be there when I went back. Overall, it was a pretty productive shopping trip. I just wish they all went that well.
Clothes Shopping
Saturday, April 12th, 2008Since I leave Wednesday for the Sony Mommy Blogger Event, I think I am going to have to go shopping tomorrow for some shorts. Since having Will, I have had to pretty much buy a new wardrobe. None of my prepregnancy clothes fit. Let me tell you, its super annoying. I hate shopping for clothes for myself. I am short and let’s say I am nowhere near a size 2. It makes clothes shopping difficult. Maybe I’ll luck out and find something at the first store. However, that usually never happens. Wish me luck.
Grow Baby Green
Friday, April 4th, 2008I know after I had Will that trying to use natural products was something that we were going to try to do. Grow Baby Green is a website dedicated to helping stay environmentally safe and sound with your child’s products. They give some great idea of how to help the environment and not break the bank. Surprisingly, you may be do some of these things already. For example, recycling your clothes. Both my kids wear hand-me-down clothes. I also pass their clothes down to other cousins who can use them. I have also donated my clothes and other items in the house that aren’t being used to Goodwill, so somebody else can get a use out of them. There is also a great article of why you shouldn’t be using bleach. Did you know that more deaths occur due to the inhalation or ingestion of bleach than from any other household cleaning product? That alone should keep bleach out of your house! Each post has some great eco-friendly products to look at and try out too. This is a great place to stop and check out how you can make little changes in your house and with your kids to help the environment. It is these baby steps that allow for a better environment for us all.
Winter Cleaning
Saturday, January 26th, 2008I think it is time I put away I finally put away maternity jeans and clothes. I am not sure why they haven’t been put back up in the attic yet, but it is time. While Bill is up there, I think I may have him bring down the rest of the Christmas totes, so I can finally put the rest of the Christmas stuff away. Yes, I know this should have been done weeks ago. However, I am still waiting for Bill to bring the totes down, so I can put them away. I have no idea where in the attic he put them. I am getting to the point though that I think I am just going to have to go up there and find them myself otherwise it may be the Fourth of July before it gets done!
