Garage Flooring
My garage flooring, for lack of a better word, sucks. It is cracked all over. It has weeds and ants making homes in the cracks. It is nothing that I would even want to take a picture of and show you — that’s how bad it looks. Ideally, I would like a garage floor that looks like this instead:
That looks 100 times better than what I have right now. It actually makes it look like a room of the house. Speaking of the house, I wonder if you can use this on your basement floor (note to self: check into that). Another little thing I found that I need for my garage is one of these:
I won’t tell you how many times I have pulled too far ahead in my garage. We use to have a 2 x 4 laying on the ground, but that has a tendency to move. Also, everyone seems to trip over it too. Is anyone else’s garage the forgotten room of the house?
Sex Offender Used As Election Judge
This scares me, because we bring Madison to vote with us. Here’s the story:
A convicted sex offender (Arnulfo Vallejo) worked at a school on the northwest side of Chicago. Last I checked, sex offenders are not allowed on school grounds However, this guy worked the Chicago election last Tuesday and the election in November.
Please tell me how this guys slips through the cracks. I guess I was under the assumption that background checks were run if you wanted to an election judge. If this guy got through, how many others have? The fact that he was at a school scares me the most.
