I leave on Wednesday for this. I am starting to get super excited. Granted, it isn’t going to be as good as going on a royal caribbean cruise. However, a couple of days of no husband and kids is a good thing, right?    I checked the hotel out online, and it looks awesome.  This whole trip just looks like it is going to be a ton of fun.  I have already emailed and talked to several of the other moms who are going to be there.  Everybody sounds really cool.  I love that they are giving us time to blog while we are at this event.  Now, do I bring my Kodak camera?  LOL

I took Will to the doctor this afternoon. He went from 7 lbs. 3 oz. last week to 8 lbs. 5 oz. this week. I guess he is not spitting up as much as it looks like he is. We adjusted his dosage, and we have to go back in a week for an update. Since he is gaining a lot of weight, they aren’t too concerned with the spitting up.

The surprising thing that happened is that the doctor heard a heart murmur. We have to go see a pediatric cardiologist on July 26th now. I guess this is pretty common, but I am trying not to freak out. With everything that went wrong with the pregnancy, I thought we were finally in the clear. Right now, I think I just need to get some sleep, and I won’t be so upset by this.

Are you a Jericho fan? I personally am not, but the hubby loves this show. He was crushed when I told him that CBS canceled it after one season. The biggest problem was the lengthy hiatus in the middle of the season. They never seemed to reclaim the viewers they lost.

Viewers are mad. They have called, emailed, and petitioned CBS to bring it back for a second season. Nina Tassler, the network president, actually posted on a forum: “We have read your emails over the past few days and have been touched by the depth and passion with which you have expressed your disappointment. Please know that canceling a television series is a very difficult decision . . . Thank you for supporting Jericho with such passion. We truly appreciate the commitment you made to the series and we are humbled by your disappointment. In the coming weeks, we hope to develop a way to provide closure to the compelling drama that was the Jericho story.”

So what does that mean? A tv movie? Another network picking it up?
