I’ve been on a blogging hiatus since we were gone to Wisconsin. I really didn’t blog about it too much since I didn’t think it was wise to let the internet know that we weren’t home. However, we are back now and I am hoping to get back to blogging a little more frequently than I have been. My parents only have dial up, and that is just not worth my time to even try and do. I don’t know how my dad looks for cheap auto insurance or even checks his email. It is so slow that I can’t stand it at all. We are trying to talk him into getting DSL, so hopefully, I’ll be successful with that. I am hoping to get some of our pictures downloaded later tonight, so I can show you what fun my kids had. I am hoping that everyone had a great Christmas and got everything they wanted.

We’re Back!
Monday, January 5th, 2009Christmas Tree Madness
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008
This is what our Christmas tree looked like for about two hours on Sunday. Granted, our prelit tree is 8 years old. However, half of the tree was out when we put it up. Of course, Bill didn’t bother to plug it in until we were over half done getting it up and fixing the branches. He’s lucky I didn’t recommend he start researching a hotel las vegas. Instead, I stayed quite calm and just finished the tree. Since only one side of the tree was out, we were able to cheat and just turn that side to the wall. We also broke two ornmanents (thanks kids!) before we even had the garland on the tree. Good times, good times.
Here are a few more pics of us/the tree/the kids having some fun:

Holiday Fun
Sunday, December 7th, 2008I love to play games, and I think my love of games has rubbed off on my children. I’ll play any board game against anyone. I personally love Monopoly, but in 12 years, my husband has only one a few times (so for some reason, he doesn’t want to play with me anymore). However, this year, I think our game playing will be on our Wii. We are having Christmas at my house, and we are the only one with a Wii. Besides some Wii games, I think we will be playing War and Go Fish, since Madison is four and that is about all she knows how to play.
What games do you play on playing over the holidays?
Where are they now: Steve Burns
Monday, October 20th, 2008Anybody who was born in the 90’s or who have had kids in the last ten years knows all about Blue’s Clues. When it first started, Steve was the one we got to watch on the show with Blue. However, halfway through its run, he decided to leave. Due to a fun conversation that took place on Twitter this morning, I was to find out what Steve has been up to. He left Blue’s Clues to start a music career, and it looks like he did just that. However, I am glad to see that he still does some kids music too (see second video).
Though I do still find it weird to look at him with facial hair and a bald head. What do you think?
Football Sunday
Sunday, October 19th, 2008Bill has been gone to the Chicago Bears game all day. The final score was 48-41, so needless to say, it really was a fun, interesting, nailbiting game. He’s on his way home right now ( I just called him), and they are still stuck in traffic! Right now, I am watching the Green Bay Packers while I am waiting. Being from Green Bay, I love when I am able to watch both games! Trust me, a Packer fan living in Chicago gets a lot of flack. Right now, (crossing my fingers and hoping I don’t jinx them), the Packers are winning 27 – 7 against the Indianapolis, and they are looking pretty good. Yes, even when the hubby isn’t home I watch football.
Ohhh while I was writing this, Packers intercepted and the score is 34 – 7. Wooohooooo! Go Pack Go!
